What will caregivers do?

Who are Caregivers?
- Caregivers are individuals who have been carefully selected and trained by the center to ensure the highest quality of service and safety for our esteemed members.
- They are dedicated, attentive, and enthusiastic individuals who can provide comfort and assistance, allowing our members to feel at ease and well-cared for.
- Caregivers can also be family members of the members themselves.

How to become a Member?
Requirements to become a Member
Be a U.S. citizen or have had a GREEN CARD for 5 years or more.
Be a retired individual aged 65 or older with a pension (SSA), or receive disability benefits (SSI), or government healthcare coverage (Medicaid).
Be a physically disabled individual aged 18 or older.
How to become a Volunteer?
What additional benefits do members receive?
- Receive free food every two weeks, sufficient for the entire month.
- Receive free transportation to FSC center activities and doctor appointments.
- Participate in weekly lotteries on Thursdays and Fridays.
- Earn points in member reward programs.
Join excursions and sightseeing tours organized by the center. - Nurses will visit homes every two months to conduct periodic health check-ups for all homecare members.
How to become a Caregiver?
Responsibilities of the Caregiver:
The caregiver is willing to work with the management company, including entering daily notes for the management company to review, participating in at least one training session per month, and joining joint home visits semi-annually with the management company.
The caregiver is responsible for assisting the member in maximizing their highest possible level of independence by providing necessary care and support, including the following:
- Supervising or assisting with daily personal activities.
- Supervising or assisting with daily personal activities.
- Providing oversight and protection to ensure the health and welfare of the member.
- Monitoring or assisting with health-related tasks.
- Supervising or assisting the member when accompanying them outside the home for daily activities, maintaining health, or other necessary needs as outlined in the care plan, and providing similar supervision or support as when at home.
- Sending daily electronic notes reflecting the member's health and the caregiver's activities.
Requirements to become a Caregiver:
A caregiver is someone who assists and supports individuals with physical or mental disabilities, as well as those with chronic illnesses, in managing their daily tasks, from preparing meals to dressing and engaging in self-care activities.
If you wish to become a caregiver, you must meet the following standards:
At least 18 years old.
Eligible to work in the United States.
Not disqualified from the Medicaid program.
Not a legal guardian or spouse.
May or may not have a familial relationship with the member.
Requires CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid certification, TB screening, and PCA (Personal Care Assistant) check.
Additionally, for the family structure program:
- Caregivers must reside in the same household as the member (same residence/same address).
- Caregivers must not operate a business, be enrolled full-time in school, or be caring for young children.
