Ngày 28 tháng 02, 2025, cô Von Trần, Giám đốc của First Senior Center, đã tham gia hội thảo tổ chức. Đây là dịp tôn vinh những thành tựu của phụ nữ và chia sẻ kiến thức từ các lãnh đạo nữ xuất sắc.
Liz Everett Krisberg, Giám đốc Viện Bank of America, đã cập nhật tình hình kinh tế của phụ nữ ở Mỹ và toàn cầu, cung cấp những dữ liệu và phân tích sâu sắc, giúp phụ nữ hiểu rõ hơn về vị thế kinh tế của mình và khuyến khích họ nắm bắt cơ hội.
Janelle Williams, Đồng sáng lập và Giám đốc điều hành Kindred Futures, chia sẻ về những thách thức mà phụ nữ gặp phải trong việc tiếp cận vốn và khởi nghiệp, truyền cảm hứng cho nhiều phụ nữ theo đuổi ước mơ kinh doanh.
Donata Russell Ross, Giám đốc điều hành Concessions International, nhấn mạnh tầm quan trọng của quyền sở hữu doanh nghiệp và cách mà phụ nữ có thể tạo ra sự khác biệt trong cộng đồng. Natosha Reid Rice, một nhà hoạt động từ thiện nổi tiếng, đã chia sẻ hành trình cá nhân của mình và ảnh hưởng của phụ nữ trong chính trị và đầu tư, khuyến khích mọi người suy nghĩ về vai trò của họ trong việc thay đổi xã hội.
Trong dịp này cô cũng đã gặp gỡ và trò chuyện với cô Wendy Corona, Đài WSB-TV. Cô ấy là xướng ngôn viên danh tiếng của Channel 2 Action News phát sóng lúc 4 đến 11 p.m từ thứ Hai đến Thứ Sáu và cũng thực hiện các chương trình hàng ngày khác. Cô Wendy cũng có lời mời cô Von Trần tham gia một show riêng của cô ấy trong thời gian tới.
Là một người nhập cư, cô Von Trần luôn trăn trở về những khó khăn mà cộng đồng cao niên người Việt gặp phải. Trong suốt 8 năm qua, cô đã hiện thực hóa nhiều ý tưởng về dịch vụ chăm sóc sức khỏe thể chất và tinh thần, mang lại cuộc sống hạnh phúc cho cao niên.
Trên hành trình của mình, cô Von Tran đã nhận được nhiều ghi nhận từ chính quyền và cộng đồng, cùng nhiều giải thưởng danh giá. Cô được chào đón tại nhiều hội thảo, truyền cảm hứng cho các nhà lãnh đạo, mở rộng mối quan hệ đối tác và kết nối với các tổ chức, công ty và nhân vật có ảnh hưởng lớn.
Đây là những bước ngoặt đánh dấu sự lớn mạnh của First Senior Center of Georgia và First Senior Center, không chỉ được biết đến trong cộng đồng người Việt mà còn tạo sức ảnh hưởng đối với các cộng đồng và doanh nghiệp ở Mỹ.
Von Tran Participates in the 2025 International Women’s Day Conference
February 28, 2025, Von Tran, Director of the First Senior Center, participated in the 2025 International Women’s Day conference organized by IWF Georgia. This event celebrates the achievements of women and shares knowledge from outstanding female leaders.
Liz Everett Krisberg, Director of the Bank of America Institute, provided an update on the economic status of women in the U.S. and globally, offering insightful data and analysis that help women better understand their economic position and encourage them to seize opportunities.
Janelle Williams, Co-Founder and CEO of Kindred Futures, discussed the challenges women face in accessing capital and starting businesses, inspiring many to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.
Donata Russell Ross, CEO of Concessions International, emphasized the importance of business ownership and how women can make a difference in their communities through entrepreneurship. Natosha Reid Rice, a renowned philanthropic activist, shared her personal journey and the impact of women in politics and investment, encouraging everyone to reflect on their roles in driving societal change.
On this event, Von Tran also met and spoke with Wendy Corona from WSB-TV. Wendy Corona joined Channel 2 Action News in January 2013. She anchors Channel 2 Action News at 4 and 11 p.m. Monday through Friday and also reports daily throughout the metro area.
As an immigrant, Von Tran has been deeply concerned about the challenges faced by the Vietnamese senior community. Over the past eight years, she has turned many ideas for physical and mental health care services into reality, bringing happiness to seniors.
Throughout her journey, she has received numerous accolades from the government and the community, along with prestigious awards. She is welcomed at many conferences, inspiring leaders, expanding partnerships, and connecting with influential organizations and individuals.
These milestones mark the growth of the First Senior Center of Georgia and the First Senior Center, making a name for themselves not only in the Vietnamese community but also increasingly influencing various communities and businesses across the U.S.
