Cô Von Trần – CEO của First Senior Center vừa được tạp chí Georgia Asian Times bình chọn là 1 trong số “25 Người Mỹ gốc Á và người Thái Bình Dương ảnh hưởng nhất tại Georgia” trong dịp kỷ niệm Tháng Di sản Người Mỹ gốc Á Thái Bình Dương (AAPI).

Ms. Von Tran – the CEO of First Senior Center, has just been selected by Georgia Asian Times magazine as one of the “25 Most Influential Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) in Georgia” in celebration of AAPI Heritage Month.
This is an annual award program that honors exceptional individuals of Asian and Pacific Islander descent who have made significant contributions to their communities and fields in the state of Georgia. Honorees come from diverse backgrounds, including business, education, healthcare, and community service.
As one of the 25 influential figures selected in 2024, Ms. Von Tran is a role model and an inspiration for others to strive for excellence and promote understanding and unity between different communities. Alongside her, other impactful community leaders such as Ms. Tra My Nguyen, President of the Georgia Vietnamese American Community, and Mr. Long Tran, State Representative (GA-80), were also recognized.
On July 12, 2024, at the “25 Most Influential Asian American and Pacific Islander in Georgia” Awards ceremony organized by Georgia Asian Times (GAT), Ms. Von Tran, the CEO of First Senior Center, was honored to take the stage to accept this prestigious award. In her acceptance speech, she said, “I am deeply honored to receive this award. This is a recognition of the efforts of myself and my team at First Senior Center over the years. I will devote the rest of my life to serving the senior community and bringing positive changes to the AAPI elders.”
Ms. Von Tran, selected from hundreds of nominees as one of the 25 influential figures, has dedicated her entire career to serving and improving the quality of life for the elderly in the AAPI community in Georgia. With her leadership and foresight, she has built the First Senior Center, a non-profit organization that provides comprehensive services for the elderly, from healthcare to recreational activities and community engagement.
