Requirements to become a Caregiver:
A caregiver is someone who assists and supports individuals with physical or mental disabilities, as well as those with chronic illnesses, in managing their daily tasks, from preparing meals to dressing and engaging in self-care activities.
If you wish to become a caregiver, you must meet the following standards:
At least 18 years old.
Eligible to work in the United States.
Not disqualified from the Medicaid program.
Not a legal guardian or spouse.
May or may not have a familial relationship with the member.
Requires CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid certification, TB screening, and PCA (Personal Care Assistant) check.

- Caregivers must reside in the same household as the member (same residence/same address).
- Caregivers must not operate a business, be enrolled full-time in school, or be caring for young children.
Responsibilities of the Caregiver:
The caregiver is willing to work with the management company, including entering daily notes for the management company to review, participating in at least one training session per month, and joining joint home visits semi-annually with the management company.
