A Story About the Youth – The Grandchildren of First Senior Center Employees<\/div>\n

All employees of First Senior Center have just returned from the annual company trip organized by FSC, with faces shining bright from joy and bellies still aching from laughter.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The 3-day trip, with over 70 participants spanning three generations\u2014grandparents, parents, and children\u2014brought everyone together to connect through endless fun and immerse themselves in nature. At first, the little ones were shy and hesitant, struggling to connect with those around them. Parents had to persuade them to join in. The 5- to 7-year-olds, still mastering Vietnamese, often mixed-up expressions while talking to adults, and the pre-teens felt bashful when meeting peers of the opposite gender.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

But those moments of awkwardness quickly faded as team games for the kids began. One by one, they crossed barriers of language, age, and gender, choosing to trust, connect, and hold hands with new friends while playing joyfully on the sunlit beach filled with laughter.<\/div>\n

Everyone understands that children born in the U.S. or those who have moved from Vietnam face cultural challenges that adults may not fully comprehend. The company trip of First Senior Center is not just an opportunity for them to engage in exciting activities with new friends who share their Vietnamese roots but also a chance to explore Vietnamese culture and learn how to connect with the community.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

First Senior Center aims to provide all employees with happy moments alongside family and colleagues, emphasizing the importance of connecting with the younger generation. This bond not only helps children understand their parents’ work and environment but also creates memorable experiences, fostering love and a sense of responsibility toward the community.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Parents can share with their children the challenges they’ve faced, their dreams, and aspirations, helping the kids better understand their family’s journey.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
